Rhoe comes from the Greek word meaning “flow.” It reflects God’s heart to release His Word and Spirit in a continual, life-giving way. This word became central to us as we reflected on Ezekiel 47:8–10, the vision of the River of Life—wherever the river flows, everything lives.

This truth came alive during our stay in Lauterbrunnen, the valley of 72 waterfalls, when we visited Trümmelbach Falls—a series of glacier-fed waterfalls flowing inside a mountain. As we moved upward through tunnels and stairways, we were struck by the immense force of the water, continually carving through solid rock. God impressed on us a simple but powerful key: lasting transformation comes through continual flow.

At the top of the falls, as we paused to reflect, we witnessed a rare sight—a rainbow, followed by a double rainbow above the waterfall. As the wind moved, the red and orange hues appeared like flames of fire, reminding us of God’s covenant, His promises, and the manifest presence and power of the Holy Spirit. We sensed this was God’s confirmation of what He was revealing to us.

In that moment, everything connected. Just as persistent water shapes even the hardest rock, lives are transformed when we keep doing—faithfully releasing the Word of God in the power of the Holy Spirit. This is the heart of Rhoe: allowing God’s life to flow, bringing healing, restoration, and lasting change.​
